Visited the pro shop today to ask about membership. Had a business card thrown at me, along with a melt down about Greg Norman. Younger fellow that works there. I did not get his name. He was very strange! My first impression was my last! There are too many great golf courses in my area to have to have to stay away from the club house. Client service is lacking around this entire facility!

Unfortunately bar at Cotton & Gin is no longer worth visiting. Nice atmosphere and music, but drinks are weak (eyeball short pours) and not worth it. G&T tasted like fountain soda and dropped with no napkin or acknowledgment. For such a nice resort you think bar would be top notch too.

The Golf Club at Lansdowne - A Must for Any Golfer’s Bucket List! This review is long overdue, but better late than never! I had the pleasure of spending July 4th weekend at Lansdowne with my family, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. If you’re considering it, do a stay and play — trust me, you won’t regret it. I was determined to play well, and both courses, the Greg Norman and Robert Trent Jones, did not disappoint. Each course has its own character and challenge, making it impossible to pick a favorite. Honestly, I could play these courses every day and never get bored! The staff? Top-notch. From check-in to the pro shop, everyone made me feel like I was right at home. Speaking of the pro shop — it’s probably the best-stocked shop for women’s golf apparel that I’ve come across in my travels. Seriously, I was impressed by the variety and quality of the merchandise. While playing, I chatted with a few members who almost convinced me to join — and I live three hours away! 😂 That says a lot about the sense of community here. The resort and golf club will definitely be part of my summer plans moving forward. The practice facilities (driving range and putting greens) are well-kept and easily accessible, making it a great place to fine-tune your game. After my round, I grabbed dinner at Piedmont’s, conveniently located in the same building as the clubhouse. The food was delicious — a perfect way to end a great day on the course. If you’re looking for a golf destination that offers amazing courses, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent amenities, look no further than Lansdowne. Highly recommend!

A couple of courses, but both incredibly maintained! Service was great- and package from the stay at the hotel was awesome!

A beautifully challenging course that always keeps you on your toes. The resort area is quite expansive and features plenty of golf and fine dining. It does take a little while to get used to the layout considering the sheer size of the property however.
