Roanoke, Virginia
Ballyhack Golf Club
About the club
After architect Lester George completed his design of Kinloch, with its dual fairways, optional routes and triple-fairway ninth, he relished the opportunity to do it again on a site that might give him even more flexibility. He got that chance in hills outside Roanoke, and his Ballyhack design is Kinloch on steroids, with vast landing areas, joined fairways, center bunkers, double greens and a plethora of choices off the tees and into the greens. Call Ballyhack a pluperfect blend of challenging shots, rugged terrain and nasty native roughs. The Ballybunion of southern Virginia.

Real nice course. Very small clu house. They could use more parking. Any special event will require more than half of the attendees to park in a grassy hay field up the road

Unique golf experience. It is rare to have such elite service all at one place. It feels like some of top hotels in the nation. Anything we thought of was taken care of. The food was what you would expect from any top restaurant in the nation. This is way more than just the golf, it is an experience. The accommodations on the course made things so convenient. At 5 the par three starts up. Putting at night. If you have the chance, check this place out.
