Occoquan Yacht Club

First, a rare but genuine promise and disclosure: I am a member of OYC and currently serve on the board. My wife and I have been members since 2003. This has to be one of the best boat clubs in the area. Yes, boat club: We have members with boats from 24 ft to 60 ft. We have dues, but it doesn't go toward rent on indoor office space. It's used to sponsor events for our members, be it a raft-up in a nearby bay, a week(s) long cruise or a gathering at a members home, this club is down to earth, friendly and welcoming.
