About the club
Originally designed in 1907 by Robert Johnstone, with revisions done by Ted Robinson (1968), golf legend Arnold Palmer (1997), and Thad Layton of the Arnold Palmer Design Company (2022), the course provides a true test of golf for players of every level of skill. The challenging, beautiful and quiet golf course is surrounded by hundred-year-old Douglas firs, is immaculately maintained, and invites the technical and thoughtful golfer to not only admire the course's spectacular beauty, but to also test his or her skills against the narrow fairways and speedy greens.

The most prestigious golf club in Seattle. Historic Club House. Very little play. Outstanding course conditions. Pro Staff and caddies very professional and knowledgeable. The practice ground could be better but cannot have it all, real estate is a premium located adjacent to the Highlands. The pinnacle of Seattle golfing experience. Updated: 2022 course updated …. Dozens of small improvements from the 6 month close and May 2022 opening. Modernizing many of the green complexes; 15 feet turf skirt added. I have played Seattle Golf maybe 30+ times in the last 20 years and the experience never disappoints. Ranks equally with Royal Oaks as best Poa greens in the Washington State. Shot makers golf course, need clear advice on shot placement off tee and into greens. Old school lockeroom and great mens bar area adjacent to lockeroom.
