About the club

Lewisburg Elks Country Club: A Golfing Haven in West Virginia Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of West Virginia, Lewisburg Elks Country Club has cemented its place as one of the premier golfing destinations in the state. With a rich history of achievements and an array of first-class amenities, this club has captivated golf enthusiasts for decades. Established in 1921, the Lewisburg Elks Country Club has a storied past. Originally designed as a nine-hole course, it quickly gained popularity among local golfers. However, in 1959, renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. was commissioned to expand the course to a full 18 holes, transforming it into a true championship-caliber layout. Over the years, Lewisburg Elks Country Club has played host to numerous prestigious tournaments and championships. The club's crowning glory came in 1986 when it welcomed the West Virginia Open, showcasing the talents of both amateur and professional golfers from across the state. Since then, it has continued to attract top players and maintain a reputation for its challenging yet fair layout. Comparing Lewisburg Elks Country Club to other notable golf courses nationwide, it holds its own. While it may lack the glitz and glamour of some high-profile resort courses, it compensates with its serene ambiance, captivating natural surroundings, and a deep sense of tradition. Golfers seeking an exceptional golfing experience, devoid of unnecessary pomp, will feel right at home here. Boasting two clubhouses, Lewisburg Elks Country Club offers its members a variety of amenities. The main clubhouse features a well-appointed pro shop, dining facilities, and locker rooms. The elegant dining room provides scenic views of the course, allowing golfers to savor a delicious meal while basking in the tranquility of the surroundings. Additionally, the club's second clubhouse, located near the 9th and 18th greens, offers a more casual setting for golfers to unwind after a round. T
