Methodology

How we collect and verify club data.

Data sources

1. Direct club relationships

Claimed profiles are verified by club membership directors. Operators update fees, waitlist status, amenities, and contact information directly. This is our highest-confidence data.

2. Public records and club websites

We crawl club websites, public filings, and membership brochures. Fee data is extracted where clubs publish it. We cross-reference multiple sources before adding to the index.

3. Member disclosures and community reports

Members and industry professionals contribute updates through our review process. All submissions are validated against existing records before publication.

4. Proprietary enrichment pipeline

Our AI-powered enrichment extracts structured data from unstructured sources. Each field is scored for confidence. Low-confidence data is flagged for manual review.

Fee data accuracy and caveats

Initiation fees and annual dues vary by membership category (full, social, junior, corporate), payment plans, and timing. Many clubs do not publish fees publicly. Our data represents our best estimate at the time of collection. Always verify current pricing directly with the club before making decisions.

Enrichment scoring

Each club profile receives an enrichment score (0–100) based on data completeness and source confidence. Higher scores indicate more complete, verified data. Claimed clubs with operator-verified information receive the highest scores.

Score rangeMeaning
80–100Operator-verified or multiple high-confidence sources
50–79Partial data from public sources, some verification
0–49Minimal data, unverified or inferred
