Ocean City Yacht Club

Our experience with the Ocean City Yacht Club was incredible! Bill was so easy to work with and made wedding planning an absolute breeze. The Yacht Club was the perfect setting for both our ceremony and reception — beautiful, spacious, and perfectly suited for the flow of the day. The food was amazing (our guests are still talking about it!), and everything went off without a hitch. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding!

My daughter was married at OCYC on 5/31/25. The venue is on the bay, offering beautiful sunsets. It was especially pretty after dark, lit by candlelight. The food was incredible, served by a very professional staff.

Sharon, Tammy and the entire Greate Bay Country Club staff gave us the wedding of our dreams! From the day of booking the Ocean City Yacht Club to the day of the wedding, Sharon made everything run smoothly and ensured no detail was overlooked! We planned the wedding from Virginia, and Sharon was prompt in responding to all emails and questions. The wedding day was flawless - the entire venue was set up beautifully, the staff were so kind and attentive to our guests, and all of our attendees continue to mention how exquisite the food was! The location is great, but the staff truly made the wedding exceptional! Sharon and Tammy stayed during the wedding to ensure everything ran smoothly - both came up to my husband and I several times throughout the night to ensure the event was meeting our expectations (food, drinks, etc.). While we were talking to guests, they brought us our drinks so we did not have to wait at the bar! I highly recommend you booking Ocean City Yacht Club for your wedding - we will certainly have to book again in the next few decades for our wedding vowel renewal! We sat outside while a boat race was on. It was beautiful to watch. The sun going down was pretty fierce for a bit but then it was lovely. Our server was young and charming. The swordfish was as good as any I've ever had. Caesar salad was included and nicely done. A friend had the halibut and it was simply gorgeous. I was very impressed with the quality of the provisions and the skill of the chef. Highly recommend!

It's not that common for a wedding vendor to leave a review for a venue, but I want to share my excellent experience this past weekend photographing at Ocean City Yacht Club. The staff was fantastic both with the guests and with me. They were proactively helpful, taking excellent care of the wedding guests and especially the couple. The food was outstanding, and the environment was great for photography. The backside dock and deck both contribute to excellent shots (including great sunset shots if the sky is right). The balcony overlooking the main room is also great for photographs. It's an excellent venue, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great event experience.
