For me - it is always a day trip! The bay, the sky and rich food with drinks. Everything is Lovely-Lovely-Lovely !!!

It’s an old-school yacht club. Great place to learn how to sail. The building housing the club is a sprawling, spacious structure — that’s been around forever. There’s a good restaurant inside — with stunning harbor views. Every year, they host a New Year’s Eve party — with live music and amazing food.

Excellent food at club restaurant. Most members are very friendly and welcoming. Club facilities are well maintained. Officers also actively engage members to participate in club affairs. Highly recommend!

This is a review of the sailing school at RYC not the club in general. If you sign up for their classes but need to reschedule, make sure that you know that you will be either losing your money (in my case $500) or paying them twice for the class. When I was in the process of trying to reschedule (before the class date 2024) , they told me that I could reschedule but they wouldn't have another ASA 103 class until the following spring 2025. Recently, when I tried to reregister for the class they told me that I would need to give them an additional $450 ( so $950.00 total for the class) and followed up with, "you should have read our cancellation policy". Their communication and customer service is terrible. If I would have known this "policy" prior to trying to rescheduling, I would have taken the class at the original time.
