Members are friendly, supportive, and genuinely passionate about sailing, paddling and preserving the club’s long-standing traditions. It’s more than just a place to sail, canoe or kayak—it’s a place to relax, connect, and make great memories. The clubhouse itself has character and history, and the grounds are well-maintained. A beautiful place that we have been able to visit for different occasions thanks to our friends

My son & I came here for a fall event! The grounds are so magnificent very welcoming . Such a nice place to bring the family for the day . The day we were there they had a sail boat race. Definitely can’t wait to come back and visit it again

So, we investigated the Shipman Mansion tonight. It was awesome. If you ghost hunt, you need to put it on your list. The place was very well kept. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and the cost very reasonable.

Was across the Delaware River in Croydon, Pa, when posting this. My phone's location must have skipped over to the NJ side. I visited the club once to take photos. The folks there were friendly and nice.
